Materials Science
After studying in the field of Materials Science for both my Bachelor's and my Master's degrees, I have started the National Doctoral Program in Sustainable Development and Climate Change in November 2021 to try and expand my horizons. I am still unsure on what the future holds for me, but I will bring my A-game in everything I am involved in.
My activities involve the synthesis of copper-based heterogeneous catalysts that undergo both basic and advanced (spectroscopic) characterization and that can be tested in partial oxidation reactions for the activation of the C-H bond, converting light hydrocarbons into their partially oxygenated products that are industrially valuable.
