About me

I have an academic  and professional background in urban planning and design in India and Italy.  My research interests centre around cities with a focus on sustainable  mobility, land use planning and neighbourhood liveability. At present, my  goal is to study the intersection between urban and public health with the  help of geospatial analysis and remote sensing.

My research

The research aims  to study the correlation between air pollution and respiratory and  cardiovascular health in the region of Lombardia, Italy. This study will be  conducted in collaboration with and using database from Agenzia Regionale  Emergenza Urgenza Lombardia. I plan to assess this question through the lens  of urban form and morphology and propose a decision support system to  mitigate risk through short and long-term strategies.
