The first edition of the Call for Ideas 2025 is now open!
The first edition of the Call for Ideas 2025 is now open, promoted by the University School for Advanced Studies IUSS Pavia in collaboration with the Superior University Schools of the Educating Future Citizens (EFC) network. The initiative offers PhD students and recent PhD graduate enrolled either at IUSS School, the lead institution of theEFC project, or at one of the EFC partners institutions to turn their research resultsinto high-impact entrepreneurial proposals, fostering dialogue betweenresearch, industry and society. Ideas related to one of the following thematicareas may be submitted:
· Energy & Sustainability – innovativesolutions for a greener planet
· Space – technologies and services for exploringthe universe
· Culture & Creative Industries – ideas thatplace creativity at the service of community
What the call offers
Join the Call for Ideas 2025 totransform your research into a high-impact project through a tailor-madeprogram that offers you:
· Residential training: two half-day sessions,“From Research to Business”, at UniverMantova, to master practical innovationtools and methods;
· Top-Tier Mentoring: thematic workshops andone-to-one coaching with mentors and experts in the innovation field to tailoryour idea for the market;
· Visibility and networking: connect withpotential partners and expand your professional network;
· Final pitch exclusive awards: present your ideato a panel of experts and win a fellowship for a 5-day immersive experience in Silicon Valley!
Participants will not only develop their entrepreneurial ideas, but also gain the essential skills to establish themselves as tomorrow’s knowledge-based entrepreneurs.
Double application window:
· Got an idea ready? Complete the “Idea Card” andsubmit your proposal via the online form by 3:00 p.m. CET on 27 May 2025 tojoin the selection process immediately.
· Don’t have a clear idea yet? Reserve your spot by filling out the form by 27 May 2025, then complete your application by 3:00p.m. CET on 14 June 2025.
