Recent advances on agriculture and climate change: where are we now?

On January 26th, 2023 the CU5 (Agriculture and Forestry) event took place at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Piacenza, co-organized by the Ph.D. program in Agro-Food System (Agrisystem) and the PhD SDC. Ph.D.

In the event, the students had the oppurtunities to attended to interesting seminars:

1. "Now metrics for methane emissions: what about lifestock?" held by Prof. Giusepper Puilina, Università degli Studi di Sassari;
2. "The role of urban forests in a changing climate" held by Prof. Francesco Ferrini, Università degli Studi di Firenze and Prof. Alessio Fini, Università degli studi di Milano.

After the seminars the candidates were involved in a open discussion and in a Scientific Communication Workshop.
