I spent six months at the University of Copenhagen. I chosethis destination because the professor I collaborated with works on topicsclosely related to my research, which made it a very good opportunity to deepenmy knowledge and gain new perspectives in my field. Being in an environmentwhere my research interests were directly aligned with the group’s expertiseallowed me to make the most of this experience.

My first impressions were very positive. The university environment is well organized and stimulating, and the research group was welcoming from the beginning. My supervisor was supportive and available, and I felt well integrated into the team. Overall, the atmosphere made it easy to adapt quickly and focus on my work.

The main challenges were related to finding accommodation and dealing with some administrative procedures. However, these can be managed quite easily if everything is organized in advance.
