About me

I graduated with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and MSc in Sustainable Energy Engineering from Jimma University, Ethiopia. Moreover, I completed a 1st level specializing master in sustainable management of natural resources and cultural heritage for local developments from Politecnico di Milano. I am currently embarking on a new journey to explore innovative methods for utilizing renewable energy to create a hydrogen ecosystem.

My research

The transition toward clean energy is a promising way to mitigate climate change. My PhD research focuses on the hydrogen valley concept to decarbonize the “hard-to-abate” sectors. The goal is to develop integrated renewable energy and hydrogen technologies that demonstrate the feasibility, functionality, sustainability, resilience, and safety of a hydrogen-based ecosystem.
