About me

I'm a graduate in Psychology; as part of the master's thesis, I got to investigate the Risk Perception and Self-Protection Behaviors of Residents in Flood-Prone Areas. From that moment on, I've become increasingly eager to delve into the topic of Risk Management and to broaden my perspectives and make my practice more holistic. Now, I've been working in Urban Planning, trying to mesh my background with new technical competences I'm acquiring.

My research

The research focuses on the concept of urban resilience to climate change, to be addressed by both qualitative and quantitative methods. Emphasis is placed on whole-society participatory methodologies, temporal urban planning, and smart and digital solutions. A spatial decision support system is designed, tested in several case studies and properly integrated into planning tools.
