About me

I am a Climate Modelling and Climate Change researcher. My background includes a Master degree in Aerospace Engineering and a Specializing Master in Climate Change: Adaptation and Mitigation Solutions. My main professional experiences span the Regional Climate Modelling: coupled models and Convection-Permitting Models, the Atmospheric dynamics and the Boundary-layer turbulence, as well as Climate Change Impacts assessments on ecosystems.

My research

My research project focuses on the role of the air-sea coupling and small-scale ocean processes on regional climate along coastal areas. The objective is to couple the convection-permitting atmospheric model (WRF) with the ocean model (MITgcm) on the Mediterranean Sea to study the air-sea exchange processes and their impact on the Mediterranean climate in terms of Mediterranean cyclones and extreme events especially over the coastal areas.
