About me

After working as veterinarian for 2 years in Thailand, Juthathip decided to expand her career  in human sector, by joining an MPH program at EHESP in France. As her main interest has always been in zoonosis and vector-borne diseases, Juthathip is  now pursuing her PhD in SDC, primarily focus on Health and Ecosystem, working  passionately through the One health framework to improve population health  and raise people's awareness of climate change.

My research

The primary focus of  this research is on West Nile virus, aims to use climate and land use factors to model spatiotemporal variations of competent vector distribution and  infection, using a spatiotemporal statistic. The model is expected to predict an up-coming emerging of WNV and detect areas with high risk, which is vital  for implementation of WNV preparedness and prevention plans to reduce risk of  WNV infection in human and animals.
