About me

October 2017-April 2020 Master student in Chemistry , University of Siena.April 2019- March 2020 I was a research student in the R2ES lab,Siena, where I did a thesis on life cycle assessment of perovskite tandem solar cells. These training opportunities have honed my skills in research, data collection, data analysis, communication and in doing sustainability assessments. My objective is to excel and build a career in the sustainability industry.

My research

My research adopts a life cycle approach for the evaluation of the environmental impacts of innovative photovoltaic cells throughout their life cycle. With use of relevant sustainability metrics such as energy payback time (EPBT), carbon footprint and greenhouse gases (GHG) emission factors, the approach will aim to identify the best set of materials and processes to obtain the most sustainable eco-profile depending on the final use.
