About me

Alvise Moretti is an architect, he obtained the master’s degree at Università Iuav di Venezia, in 2018, with a thesis on the territorial metabolism of the Venice’s hinterland. He collaborated with several practices in Italy, the Netherlands and Switzerland, in the fields of architecture and urbanism. His attitude in research and design is focused on sustainability and circularity,  and in the seek of an integrated and multi-disciplinary approach.

My research

River deltas are particularly fragile and fast changing territories, disputed  between land and sea, and contended over land uses, a situation moreover aggravated by the sea-level rise. Taking as case study the Po River delta,  the research explores the risks and the consequences of climate change and  will develop different scenarios trough the arrangement of coherent  solutions, to identify new ways and shapes to inhabit and live the territory.
