About me

My professional experience takes place at the CASPE Center, which has advanced instrumentation suitable for carrying out the interdisciplinary research envisaged, which combines chemistry, materials science, engineering and physics. Currently my research is focused on the synthesis of catalysts for the anodic and cathodic part of the PEC, characterization of materials, electrochemical tests, ananalysis of the products obtained.

My research

The conversion of CO2 into value-added chemicals and fuels, using renewable energy and earth-abundant materials, is the aim of my research. An attractive option to reduce the CO2 level in the environment consists in the use of systems that capture and convert CO2 into oxygen and fuels or chemicals, acting as artificial leaves that mimic natural conversion processes. The AL devices are typically based on a photoelectrochemical (PEC) configuration.
