About me

I am a Marine biologist graduated in Ancona. I've been working for a Onlus in Rimini called Fondazione Cetacea for the conservation of the Sea and the Safeguard of the Sea Turtles. I worked as the Responsible of Scientific and Citizen science activities on board of a sailing boat along the Med sea with the aim to collect data about cc linked to fishing activities. I'm the founder and creator of the "Blueat" project about the alien species.

My research

My work is about the sediment core analysis and the aim is to study how the cc have affected Como lake in the last 150 years. First of all I'm trying to date the sediment core and at the same time I'm carrying on the analysis of the sediments by counting the diatoms and the next step will be doing the isotopic analysis, pigments and the count of cladocerans. In this way we can obtain information to know what has happened over time in the Lake.
