About me

Biologist with a general biology background who specialized later on in bioinformatics, in particular plant genomics, and related informatics methodologies. Combining my biology background with my personal interest in informatics and computer  technologies has been my main goal for a while, and I look forward to new experiences that'll let me explore that even further.

My research

The research focuses  on software development and pipeline design for various tasks in genomics and  bioinformatics analysis methods. The goal is to design methods, either via  custom tools or pipelines, that will make it possible to use bioinformatics  methods to pursue breeding goals (AKA genotype information, as opposed to traditional methods which use phenotype information). Various programming  languages and tools will be covered as a result.
