About me

I hold a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master's degree in ecotoxicology and environmental sustainability from the University of Siena. I developed my thesis on studying the sustainability relationship among environment, society, and economy. After graduating I spent two years at Aarhus University focusing on the sustainability assessment of production, trade, and consumption of agricultural products. I now work on ghg emission accounting.

My research

I work on the sustainability assessment through the use of indicators. I am currently focusing on refining the accounting method for greenhouse gas emission to properly attribute the related responsibility. Besides, I have previously focused of agricultural production accounting and the effect of international trade. Furthermore, I am using emergy evaluation approach to integrate the role of nature into the technological and economic accounts
