About me

Andrea Taffuri has an interdisciplinary academic background in political, social and economic sciences with different experiences in Europe and Latin America. He also holds a II level Master in CSR, Innovation and Sustainability from Rome Tor Vergata University of Rome. His research focuses on renewable energy transitions, the relationship between capitalism and nature, energy justice, social movements, food systems, and post-growth.

My research

The PhD project investigate the socio-ecological impact of energy transition and aims to investigate the potential of renewable energy communities in creating new forms of energy commons and socio-technical imaginaries. The research will provide new theoretical bases and stronger actions for the energy transition through the application of system thinking and system dynamics.
