About me

I started studying at the University of Perugia after graduating from the Galileo Galilei scientific high school. The first three years at the university were on agricultural sciences but then I decided to move to the University of Florence to start the course on “wildlife and environmental sciences and management”. I graduated on July 2021 and then I applied for the PhD position in “Sustainable development and climate change”

My research

I wrote my master thesis on “Understanding water sources used by plants in different tropical ecosystems” using 2H and 18O that are stable isotopes of water used as natural tracers to understand the water dynamics. I am continuing my research using stable isotopes of water to “Investigate the seasonal origins of stream and plant waters in catchments under different climatic forcing”.
